WHAT IS AJANTA CAVES??

These caves are popularly know for buddhist cave mountains. Which are there from 2nd century BCE to about 480CE in maharastra ,INDIA. There are a total of 30 rock-cut caves. In that caves there are many masterpices of buddhist religious art. Which are quite stunning to watch & you will wonder how is it made??

MY FULL DAY EXPERIENCE AT AJANTA;

Last time when i went to maharastra for family tour , we got the chance to travel many places. When I was at ellora, just a think came to mind that how far ajanta caves from here, I told my family to go there but due to our busy schedule or short period of time we can't go there at that time. I just don't know how the place came into my mind, but I remembered when I was at school & studied history I came to know about that place. From that time I just hoped for a chance to visit there. That time I felt very sad that I came this far but did not get a chance to go there.

After almost one year, I came to maharastra for my vacation. When I was at pune I just got a plan to go to ajanta & see what I was so desperate. So me & my small brother began our journey from pune to ajanta.We began at 11pm & we reached there almost 4 am in the morning. We are totally in a new place, no people to know there, also did not know the local language of there. But we talked with someone & we got to the lodge which is so near to Ajanta cave. We got there did some rest. After at 8.00A.M got freshen up & out to travel Ajanta Caves.

First got the tickets, that needed to go there. Passed security checks, then waited for the bus which will take us to there. Just we got at the bus & started to get off for the destination. We are not alone, there are a lot of tourists, lot of foreigners also. Then the bus leaves us & we see the sight of Ajanta from far away. At first I thought how can we made it to travel the whole caves, I think we could not make it. But then no wastage of time we started to move from our place to towards Caves.

THIS THE ENTRY TOWARDS THE CAVES. THE STAIRS THERE WHEN YOU CROSS IT THE CAVES ARE START FROM 1-30......

So no wasting of time we started to cross the stairs & started to go caves one by one. IF I will describe about all caves one by one then it will be like a book. I will post about each cave in my upcoming blogs.

THIS PIC IS FROM THE INSIDE OF A CAVE. THIS PLACE FEELS COOL IN TEMPERATURE.. I WAS SWEATING BEFORE ENTERING THERE.

Like this we started to move from one to other. We felt very tired this time . I think it's a long distance to see all the caves. At first the sun is shining up the sky but after 2 hours the clouds are coming to drop rain on us. But I say it's an amazing feeling. It's a day I'll never ever forget in my life. I feel like the dream came true, which place I wanted to go so badly & last time I got near but can't come, so this time I feel pretty relaxed, excited, amazed by it's nature. It's worth the work I put behind to go there & hard work I put up to visit all the caves.

THESE ARE THE ROCK PILLARS WHICH HOLD THE CAVE ROOF ON THEM, GREAT TO VIEW & ALSO VERY STRONG , LONG...

Let's finish now after we visited all the caves, then went to waterfall which was near there, the place near the waterfall feels very cool. I did my srk pose up there:). Then I saw some people travel in the the upper hill so we started to go there. On the way we feel very very tired, at some place we sat, we had no water so we hoped that we could get some water up there & after a little bit of rest we started to begin our journey to the top. At last we were there, thanks to god got some water to drink. But at last the hard work paid off, what I see up there the view, the sight of all caves at once was worth all the pain I/WE took off..

I AM AT THE TOP OF THE HILL & THE VIEW OF THE CAVES WHICH IS MY BACKSIDE ARE TOTALLY WORTH ALL PAIN TO WATCH....

BUT AT LAST I FEEL TOTALLY LOVED ABOUT THE PLACE. A WHOLE DAY OF TRAVEL WORTH ALL THE PAIN, ALL THE HARD WORK I DID TO MAKE THIS MOMENT HAPPEN. IT IS AN LIFETIME ADVENTURE FOR ME..

AT THE END OF THE DAY I FELT BLESSED. THE CHARISMA OF BUDDHA IS ON ME AT LAST. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO GO THERE AGAIN & AGAIN TO GAIN SOME NEW ADVENTURE...
